Andrew Bailey MA, LMFT is the Founding Director of Anova and is Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Bailey is the original creator of the concepts behind the "Multidisciplinary Treatment of Neurodevelopmental Impairments in a Private Educational Setting" and the ACE Schools that have pioneered these concepts over the past 15 years. The ACE School model developed by Mr. Bailey has succeeded in treating and educating hundreds of students and families since first opening in 2003.
Mr. Bailey is a veteran clinician and highly skilled educational consultant who has devoted the past thirty-five years of his life to working with children and families. Mr. Bailey earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Cincinnati in 1985 and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from John F. Kennedy University in 1991. Licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist for 24 years, Andrew Bailey has provided treatment and consultation to thousands of children and families on the autism spectrum. Additionally, he has provided hundreds of trainings and lectures to thousands of students, educators, parents and professionals on a wide range of topics, including autism treatment, behavior analysis, early intervention and public health policy. Mr. Bailey has a strong interest in legal and public policy matters as they relate to education and treatment of autism across the lifespan. Mr. Bailey was appointed as Chair of the CA Senate Select Committee on Autism’s North Bay Regional Task Force in 2012, which brought together dozens of North Bay stakeholders to make recommendations to the CA Senate on legislation related to autism. Mr. Bailey continues to be very active in advancing the interests of children and families living with neurological differences.
